Barangay Ginebra San Miguel rookie Greg Slaughter and San Mig Super Coffee Mixers superstar James Yap will lead the lineup for the selection of PBA players that will battle the Gilas Pilipinas national team in this season’s All-Star Game on April 6 at Mall of Asia Arena.

Slaughter, the top overall pick who was originally part of the Gilas selection before begging off, led all players in the fan balloting for the team’s starting lineup, receiving 61,680 votes.

The 7-foot center will be joined by teammates Chris Ellis, who garnered 44,630 votes, and Mac Baracael, who got 33,756.

Philippine Cup finals Most Valuable Player Mark Barroca will call the plays for the team after getting 38,268 votes, while Yap will make his 11th straight All-Star appearance with 38,260.

San Mig Coffee coach Tim Cone will man the sidelines for the PBA selection, whose roster will be rounded out by reserves that will be selected by other coaches from the league.
